Sid is bullied by his best friend, is abused by his father and is struggling to find himself.

After his father dies, Sid becomes closer to his friends. This is an important turn for him, as it shows him what true love is. The thing he was searching for in the start.

In the end, Sid finds true love through Cassie. Their bond connects them and helps them overcome their internal struggles.
